Clearer Mind Counselling is an evidence-based clinical counselling service based in Taree on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.
Jules Brasher is a qualified counsellor who is passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming challenges and creating insight into why they think, feel and act the way they do. This helps individuals turn towards acceptance of the things that are out of their control and focus on ways that create meaningful change.
Jules holds a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling), is registered with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Level 3 and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) as a Clinical Member. Jules is also an approved Victims Services Counsellor through Department of Communities and Justice and accepts referrals for victims of crime.
You will find Jules to be a warm, empathetic, energetic counsellor. She genuinely believes in the importance of the therapeutic alliance, the relationship between the therapist and the individual. Evidence has shown that this relationship is often more important than the specific treatment approach used. Jules has an exceptional ability in providing a safe space for individuals to feel comfortable with being vulnerable and thus opening into deeper issues and meaning that are often at the heart of change.

Currently offering telephone and face-to-face appointments in Taree and Telehealth appointments Australia-wide.
All sessions are for 60 minutes.
The frequency of sessions will be discussed at your first appointment and will change over time. A lot of clients like to start with weekly sessions initially to help with gaining momentum and to develop a more rapid sense of safety within the therapeutic space, however, this may depend on individual circumstances. Over time, most clients transition to fortnightly or even monthly sessions as things start to improve and life becomes more manageable again.
If you have been approved for Victims Services counselling, you are eligible for 22 sessions. Contact Jules by email or phone to discuss allocating the sessions to Clearer Mind Counselling.
